Plaag

I love Plaag - there's something very fun, yet sinister, about the "UGH!" album. It makes me happy

Info: (from Facebook)

Somewhere in September 2009 the entity Somber took over the mind of a nobody painter in Belgium and a first song was born called 'Somber's Out'.

By the end of 2009 Daniel Vrangsinn's wonderful organisation Misantrof ANTIRecords took notice of the art this sarcastic entity was producing and took it under it's wings which led to the first 'official' Plaag release being the happy tune 'Christmas Time (The birth of a retarded child)' which was released on the free download album 'Holy Fucking Anti christmas vol.2' on the Misantrof website.

By October 2010 all the recordings were done to complete the first full length Plaag album entitled 'UGH!' which is released as a free download album (in keeping with Misantrof’s policy) and as a limited 200 copies handnumbered by Somber physical release with a nice 8 page booklet for those who want just a bit more.

In December 2010 'The Genius Of christmas' - the follow up of 'Christmas Time (The birth of a retarded child)' - was officialy released on 'Holy Fucking Anti christmas vol.3', again as a free download album on the Misantrof ANTIRecords website.

Currently Plaag is creating new stuff.
New full member Negativ Von Plaag, along with founder Somber Von Plaag are gnarling, conniving, grinning and contemplating the next PLAAG attack!

I'm listening to it now - good stuff!

Quite different to "UGH!", but still unmistakably Plaag!

The first listen was very good - no weak tracks at all. Somber and Negativ are awesome! Negativ definitely brings something new to the Plaag sound... I like it..
