We now have a VIP board - but you can't see it unless you're a VIP... but, trust me, it does exist!
We wanted to create this VIP board (and VIP group) as a way to thank those members who have been terrifically awesome. It's our way of buying you a pint to say thanks... without actually having to buy you a pint... (Although I'm sure we would still buy you a pint if we met in person... in a pub.)
Peacemaker and I will be putting our thinking caps on to decide which members will get the VIP memberships first. We're going to take into account the quality of posts, how often you're on here and if you've been promoting the site - that kind of thing. Post counts won't really be an issue (so don't feel like you have to spam the board in order to be chosen as a VIP
).All VIP Members will:
- be given access to the exclusive VIP board
- be given access to exclusive downloads (when we get some... I really should get to work on that...)
- be given the opportunity to have a @metaltavern.com email forwarder. You'll be the envy of all of your friends.
- have our undying love and gratitude.
- be consulted on new things (such as graphics, themes, other stuff!) before they go public.
If you have any other ideas on what VIP members should be entitled to, please post 'em here! My brain is fried - I need help!
